54 minIn a city isolated in the middle of a vast desert, the inhabitants cannot be exposed to sunlight because they would inevitably die, so they carry out all their activities at night. To maintain social order, criminals are sent to a prosecutor who decides whether or not they will be executed. With a plan to escape by kidnapping the prosecutor, Alicia seeks the support of a group of rebels who plan to prevent the next execution. The next person to be executed is Aurelio, a young man found guilty of robbery and murder. The group led by the journalist prevents the execution and helps Aurelio flee into the desert, but the prosecutor, in his quest for justice, pursues him, initiating a chase through the desert that lasts until dawn.
