23 minA second generation Albanian migrant in Greece, Anisa Xhomaqi, follows her mother, Aphrodite from her cleaning job to a trip with other Albanian women in Southern Greece. A tender and caring view of a generation of migrants who are usually seen as working precarious jobs, Like Aphrodite focuses through a different lens: Leisure, as a way to connect, to resist and organise against work exploitation and racism. Through visual metaphors and polyphonic sounds, the film is a poetic start of a research of the Albanian migration in Greece by the filmmaker.
